Shining at kitchen duties once again,  dealing to the onions this time

The 111mm blade really shines in the kitchen.  (if you keep it clean.)

Day 11

Oh well (Image removed from quote.)

I looked at the box with my new gas soldering iron and wondered why is there no iron tip cleaning sponge. Went to my old electrical soldering iron, took the one I have there and decided to cut it to the size of the chamber in a new box.

Used can opener to pull some weird rag out of the slot first
(Image removed from quote.)

Then trimmed an old sponge with scissors
(Image removed from quote.)

To my huge surprise that weird rag turned out to be a perfect tip cleaning sponge after I decided to put some water on it as an experiment (Image removed from quote.)
(Image removed from quote.)

Oh well, now I have two sponges (Image removed from quote.)

Wow, that's a presentation worthy storage of a tool!

Two of them, huh?...

Hahaha!  Sponge worthy!

Inspired by Cody, I am switching over to a Trekker RT just for fun.

DAY 11

I used the WorkChamp to open a bag of frozen vegetables.
Looks like a good traditional mix.

Day 11

Nothing exciting like 6” of snow! Just opening duty for my Garant - some straws from eBay which I hope will help me get my pull-through cleaner pass the vents in the end of my air rifle barrel, fingers crossed.

Hope it works.  Bore snakes clean so nicely.

Day 11: Cut open an English muffin with the big blade.

That looks good.  I haven’t had and english muffin in a while but use to love them with peanut butter

Day 11

Back to work Monday.  At my desk tools.

I love those scales

I usually use an Alox in the kitchen, but the longer blade is nice

Day 11

Opened a net of onions with the belt cutter.
That’s a lot of onions

Having a spare is a good thing

Day 11
OH Forester on trucks bedside to measure fresh snow:
(Image removed from quote.)
Getting close to 6 inches overnight I’d say. There should be  more coming with a cold front to follow so winter proper might’ve arrived :)

Nice pictures and really nice knives I like those black rubberized scales

Day 11: Cut open an English muffin with the big blade.

Try the can opener!  When you split these open with a fork you end up with more nooks and crannies for the butter,  which is the main event, to be honest.

Day 10

Used Work Champ to extend a radiator power cord

I started with Phillips screwdriver for disassembly
(Image removed from quote.)

Then wire stripping with the main blade and cap lifter - I really feel this is quite a nice solution btw - didn’t appreciate it at all when I got to try it at first
(Image removed from quote.)

(Image removed from quote.)

Then pliers for crimping of course
I used this method for cord extension - quite simple yet pretty reliable + ceramic frame is resistant to high temperature just in case
(Image removed from quote.)

And Phillips for tightening the screws again
(Image removed from quote.)

All works like a charm
(Image removed from quote.)

Very cool, alexanderre. You get the  special Macgyver award for this!

Still mostly using the Outrider, trimmed the handles off a shopping bag to use as a bin liner (not very exciting!)

So better add a Coco shot
