DAY 19

Not much real action for the OHT as it's been a work day (and I only got in about 22:30  ::) )

Still, I used the awl to make a hole in the seal of some hand cream. I could have just peeled it off but where's the fun in that  :dunno:

These bl**dy latex gloves are driving me insane (over 30 pairs used today  ) I know they're necessary but it's ruining my baby soft skin

More than putting it to good use, today I fidgeted with the Trekker.  I wish I discovered this SAK a lot sooner.

Nice pic and great story ElevenBlade! :like: :tu: :tu:

Thanks Nix :tu:

I’ve still got it strapped up in case, but think it was badly bruised rather than broken as swelling has mostly gone down, much less purple and it’s only slightly painful if I move it, a lot less than when I broke a couple previously

Nice! I can't decide between it and the LMF myself. The LMF and ASEK variant are longer, and the ASEK variant includes lots of goodies; such as a strap cutter and a sharpener in the sheath.

The choice for me was easy. I found the Strongarm from a local seller at a good price.
I wanted the tan, but tacti-black is fine I guess. The green did not look good.

Day 20.

Used the Dual Pro X (which mostly, stays in my work coat) to free a Matchbox model from the playset packaging. I bought the set for a display. It connects to a fire station, which I'm buying soon.

Here's what it looks like setup with the included models. MBX tends to use the cheapest toolings they have, usually generic/fantasy vehicles, often very lightweight toolings that are mostly plastic.

Matchbox Action Drivers Hospital 1 by cody6268, on Flickr

I ditched the rubbish generic ambulance and plastic helicopter (with the skid/clamp piece that looks horribly unrealistic) for a (mostly metal) for quality pieces from SIKU, a 1:87 Mercedes Sprinter and Eurocopter EC-145 from the UK Rescue Service set.  The BMW X5 Notarzt is a Matchbox, a German exclusive if I'm not mistaken. I have to clear off the shelf where it's going to stay. Until then, it's stuck here.

Then I opened up the midday snack, with my Master.

I believe it's illegal to serve one without it or, if it isn't, it should be
Word! Exception however should be made and is allowed when Hendrick's is used ;)

Nah, just usual rice and chicken - even living healthy as we do won’t keep me from significantly gaining weight due to lockdown, so no, sadly no bacon

Thanks Rizio and Sos :tu:

Believe me Sos Coco does pretty well, (and deservedly so), she even has her own well stocked treat cupboard :) with something like 10 different treats which she gets every day …you’d think she was wearing a watch, always knows when the next one is due

Same here, I'd love to bring it on a car camping trip someday. :D

Nice pics and cool skillet comis! :like: :tu: :tu:

I do register it every year, but with 7 others that I also register every year, each one at $134 per year it is adding up.
Can you believe this travel trailer is only $2 to register every year.

2 bucks per year?!   That's amazing! :ahhh

Day 20

It's been a pretty long day and really needed that cup of life elixir to keep me going.  Trekker helped open a coffee packet, and the slick packet always let me know when it's time to resharpen the knife again.

(I accidentally quote the wrong day yesterday, but today definitely is 20 Jan)
