Outrider was instrumental in helping to make my first Texan Chili attempt, the scissors, can opener and blade all got used in the process.  Right now the chili is simmering for 2 hours in the oven, and am really, really looking forward to it.  Smell freaking amazing.

 :ahhh   Chili!   :ahhh

Nice work everyone and tasty looking chilli!

Day 23

I thought it was time to see how well the Cheese Master mk2’s bottle opener works. It’s not as easy to locate on the cap (bit like the combo tool or the 58mm bottle opener), but with a bit of care it works - certainly better than not having one, but my preference is still for the one on 84/91/93mm SAKs, most particularly one on a M61 Soldier of a pre-mid 80s variety - just the right amount of chunkiness, and feels good when closing with your thumb! But the one on the CM2 certainly works!  :drink:

Yes!  It turns out quite alright, intense and perfect flavor.  Great for winter chilly weather!

Thank you for the recipe.  The Ancho Chiles are incredible.  As a former Texas resident (on two occasions), I am going to give it a try! :drink:

My new-to-me Slide Lock version of the Outrider arrived yesterday.  Both have the inline Phillips.
Some early ones didn't.
Here are their weights:

4.67  ounces Slide Lock

Front of Slide Lock version:
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.
