Day 2

This morning I wanted to replace the battery of my bicycle´s tail light. But my Hunter XT has no  Phillips and no opener layer, so I used my Champion instead. To most of you this might be a serious drawback, but I don´t mind; it´s not often that I need a screwdriver. Anyhow, zero points for the Hunter XT.

Day 2

111 help cuts the ginger tea package for Mrs, brown nose point is important.

Also used the Trekker's blade to trim the end of the cuttings of Thai Basil, and will try to propagate in water bottle and see whether the roots would grow.  Hopefully we will see some, and could proceed to plant them in pot.

This probably should have been my Day 1, but I opened a package yesterday and couldn't pass up the photo opp.   Anyway, here are the pens that I will be using this month for the next 29 days.

Have a great Saturday everyone.  I am enjoying all of your photos.

DAY 2

I used the mini screwdriver on my Garant to tighten the screw on my glasses and used the knife blade to cut my pork chop.

To most of you this might be a serious drawback, but I don´t mind; it´s not often that I need a screwdriver. Anyhow, zero points for the Hunter XT.

That was part of the reason I chose the Dual Pro X. The Hunter XT I can buy locally, it's one of the small handful of SAK models the local knife store sells. But, all you've got on it is the Phillips, and if you've got the CS variant, not even that.  The Dual Pro has the full openers layer and Phillips. While I like having a saw, the belt cutter can do a lot of its work.  The screwdrivers can't be substituted. And I got my Dual Pro for around $15. It had seen carry, and a little use, but not much.   And for hunting, I really don't get it. A lot of older guns (mine included, which is a 1950s design built in 1978) use slotted screws for assembly; and newer ones a lot of hex and Torx.

I do wish we'd get a four-layer Dual Pro with saw and openers. But, I'm sure Vic wouldn't sell as many Rescue Tools if they did. I don't need a glass breaker or a "Glass Master" type laminated glass saw for farm work.

Day 2: I have to say that the belt cutter makes an excellent small blade!  In this pic, I'm using it to open a package of mozzarella cheese sticks.  This blade is more useful than I thought it would be.  More to follow!
