Day 17

https://flic.kr/p/2kt8pk2

I used the Surge scissors to open a tomato sauce packet because tearing it open is so savage   :D
Very sophisticated  :tu:

Day 17
Today the prybar served to close a ball valve. Also to break down some boxes

Day 17
I used the Wissahickon Critter to cut up an apple for a late snack.  Wondering why I didn't start carrying a fixed blade knife long ago.

Monadnock PR-24?  Those are so 1980's, Surge, I didn't think you were that old.  Did you throw it at fleeing suspects legs to trip them like they did on the T.J. Hooker TV show?

Just passing by and have to respond to this clip...I really don't remember much about this show anymore, but somehow did recall seeing this scene.

Day 18
Some DIY gear today
I made the pouch this spring during the covid lockdown.
For the kershaw pub I made the scale from an engraved brass plate.

Day 18

d18 by Humayd a r Mahomedy, on Flickr

today was uneventful,tool-wise,i lost and recovered my fone, started a generator for a family member who requires Oxygen therapy, and did pretty much the same as most days.
today's pic includes a Titanium prybar i made some years back. it's in the pouch with my Surge, and is carried mainly because i wanted to carry a piece of Titanium.
i do use it when i feel a small prying job might be too much for the large flat driver on my Surge or ST300

when it comes time to bin my used and worn abrasive belts,i slice them up to take up less room in the trash cans.
ST300 came in handy, the first time i've used it for this purpose. i need to this more often,i found the blade to be a little on the small side [ok,i'm being polite,it's tiny].

Day 19

I relapsed into my usual carry.
This pouch is like an old pair of shoes...

IMG_20210119_195614 by juan pedro almeida, en Flickr

I used the MK to cut the paracord and the clipper to melt its ends to make a lanyard for the meserin croc. This one is for my son-his first multi!

Today's carry is the same as it's been all month, Duluth Warehouseman's pouch with phone, pens and 111mm Outrider, Wissahickon Critter fixed blade knife, and the Spirit in a SOG pouch.  I seem to get into a rut and I'd be hard pressed to change when I find a combo that works.

DAY 19

I was sent to work today in a place where phones are not allowed (radios only) so no pics at all I'm afraid  :dunno:

I did use the 'cuffs for prisoner transport purposes, but couldn't take a shot of that anyway  ::)

So, here's a shot of the Tac' Vest in a slightly different configuration (from a while ago) spot the difference :pok:

Stay safe out there people  :tu:
