I feel I’m missing something with the badges!
Can someone point me in the right direction for a list of badges available and criteria for being awarded them?

When applying for a badge: start a new thread (containing photographic evidence :) ) and paste the URL in the box marked "Enter a reason for requesting this award".

Or just be understated and enjoy knowing what badges you could have, without actually claiming them ;)

Now yours. Obviously your intent.  ;)

HB-

Click on your name.

Click ‘Awards’

Click either ‘Show My Awards’ or ‘Show Available Awards’

Scroll thru to find the badge you want then,
Click the Trophy Icon to request a badge.

Paste the link to the thread or your post that has the info that qualifies you for the badge!
(If your post is in another thread like in a challenge, click on the header of your specific post and that will help mods not need to find it)

Good luck!

If you go to the available badge list, you will see Challenges make up several of them.

You can do challenges on your own, but there are also several schedule where multiple people participate.

Below are threads to two the schedules of Challenges.  The Minimal (1 or 2 layer) Swiss Army Knife Challenge is just starting if you have a qualifying SAK and want to jump in.

I signed up for the minimal challenge a while back not knowing that they were, in fact, badges too so that will be my first badge.  :)

Only weirdos have a bunch of badges.  You don't want to be like those people.

I know this is off topic a little, but I just have to ask, with a username like “Helvetica Bold” did you ever watch the Tv show The Middle?
