The XLT is really minimum carry compared to this beast.

Except XLT doesn't need a carrier to lug it out for play... :D

Day 1

I read one of the original intent for building Wenger Giant is to shop case many of the Wenger tools in 85mm/similar chassis.  One being the blade from the Wenger Soldat Standard Issue(probably one of the few, if not the only Alox made by Wenger).  And since the Soldat is in 93mm format and has a longer blade, the tip of the blade does protrude from the Giant chassis and so handling the tool does need extra care.

Damn, that looks like an easy way to cut yourself even if you are just toying around with that beast. I wonder what this blade tip will do to your pocket when you carry the knife around  :pok:

Nice scales swap, that's gonna be one of the more creative use of the Lego separator. :D :tu:

I found SAK outer linings to be very soft and prone to scratches and dents when using screwdrivers as levers to get the scales of. It doesn't really matter given that the liners are hidden under the scales. Nevertheless, I nowadays prefer to continue with the brick separator once the scale has come off the first pivot.

Bob the Builder is recommending that spatula.

Like it too. Spatula and Fish scaler in one package. And some other tools, too.

Day 2

Used one of the hex key on Giant to put the scales back onto my Becker after stripping it.  I was surprised I found one that fit, it's not a small hex, 9/64" or 1/8" IIRC.

There are detachable parts? Feels like cheating to me...

Looks tight - did you manage a full turn? Due to its placement in the middle(-ish) of the XLT, I vastly prefer the Cybertool driver for driving screws with that SAK.

General question for all XLT-users here: Do you also use the in line Philips? Or just the cybertool?
