Day 11

For a double time work day for me the pen came in handy late night for quickly copying something I needed to remember

Day 11
I remember the day the Opinel #12 Explorer arrived I thought it was so big.

Nothing is bigger than the Giant!

That's a big pen! Looks a little bit unergonomic.

Day 12

Been a pretty long day today, and an afternoon coffee is almost life saving.  Giant attended the coffee duty this afternoon.

Of all the tools on the Toolchest, that's the one that fascinates me the most!  I have heard it was in a bad position to be able to really get some use out of it, but I still thinks it's ingenious!

That's an interesting comparison, and btw, never seen a #12 in the modern format.  I kept thinking they were only offered in the wood handle.  Cool!

Classic use!  I don't know how you do it, but it's pretty cool you were able to hold onto that and write!

:iagree:  Vicman, did you get a chance to use that tool?  I don't think I've used it in the past either. :dunno:

It is definitely awkward to hold and actually write with due to the thickness of the XLT but I try to hold the tool in between my thumb and pointer on its side with my pointer and middle finger controlling and holding the hook down  :salute:
