I have no problems whatsoever joining sir if you don't mind me basically posting that I only used my SAK scissors everyday and rarely a knife than a dedicated kitchen knife at home. I doubt anything more than that at least in the first 20 days of that challenge.I feel like at that point my posts will be more if an irritation compared to the rest of the great things all the others will be doing But hey I am definitely open to join
As SOS already said, your participation would be very welcome and in no way an irritation. The point of these challenges is not to post exciting pictures, but for participants to evaluate a specific tool or, in this case, a set of EDC items. Posting a photo everyday is meant to keep people engaged. The challenge is really for you, but by posting your photos, uses, non-uses, and insights, you can help us all think about EDC carry options and evaluate our own needs. Sometimes in these challenges someone gives us all a new perspective or insight on how a tool can be used. Collectively, we hope to get more out of these challenges than we might alone. So, join in! There is no need to stress out about the challenge or how you participate!
this is an odd year for everyone, and most of my "daily challenge" uses can be done more easily with my hands. My pictures and uses are about as boring as can be. But I have fun joining along and making my day more interesting than it really is. And I really enjoy seeing pictures and uses from halfway around the world. There isn't a molecule of boredom in seeing the hundredth jaffa cake being cut, or the Belgian ale being opened, or blurry background of where you live. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do.
Re flashlights/torches, I've been very happy with my Lumintop EDC01. AAA; three well spaced light levels; comes with the best carabiner clip I've had; stands on its end. I use it every night for bathroom stops and a cheap alkaline battery (shhhh!) lasts for months. Low is usually sufficient indoors; medium outdoors. Its level order is a sensible low > medium > high. It remembers the last light level used. The twist action is smooth and it doesn't turn itself on in my pocket. It throws an even beam with a tint that's just slightly cool, not objectionable unless you're really fussy. Also, I apologize to the OP for my silly derailment earlier. Truly sorry about that. Fortunately it was somewhat out of character.

I am torn if I should get a Pioneer X first or a flashlight first.
Your Explorer Plus includes all the PX functions and more, so I'd get the light first. You might be surprised at how much you use it. Much more convenient than using a phone. Even a simple squeeze light can do - they're very inexpensive.
With wanting to carry the items you listed and realizing the best combo may not be in one tool, you could always carry all the items together in a mission wallet or similar. Here is one with a Pioneer X, Luminous EDC01 and Fesnal Lens(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
I would also say get the light first. The Mission wallet is a lovely way to carry small gear. I use a leather set up myself as I like the way leather feels and looks when aged. I looked at the Mission wallet and might have to take a closer again
