The Leatherman engineers were on Instagram and said that they had new tools in their pockets but didn’t say anything about the tools themselves.

If they were smart they would get feedback before entering full blown production....doing what they did with the free would be rough.

If the bond...which has an excellent price...is made in USA (with USA mark)...I commit to buying it right now, even without seeing it. Praying for replaceable cutters lol

I was thinking about that the other day. It would be tough going backwards after having replaceable wire cutters. It’s just a near necessity for me now.

I'm hoping for a pocket sized tool without bits... a Juice replacement, I suppose

I think the Bond it’s going to be somewhat in between a Juice and a PST. Looking back at the info we have, it does fit the description for that.

The Curl may be as well but the locking blade leads me to believe it fits in more with the Wingman type tool.

for the price..I'd not cry too much about it..the idea of a modern PST...made in USA, with a pocketclip...its just too good to hope for...Praying its ergonimic enough to be comparable to the Sideclip... and similarly thin...

Simply searching eBay should be enough to let the folks and Leatherman know there is a demand for a tool like the sideclip.  A modern version of the sideclip would be awesome.  Guess we will have to wait and see.  Hope they release some news soon.

I Don't understand leatherman at all..have they not seen what successful marketing is? They should be building hype for this tool by putting out teasers...  :twak:

I just want them to get in the large knife making again. It is so weird. They have brand awareness, machinery, design engineers, and history of making some good knives. They just want to make gadgets nowadays? Sound like a SOG in the making.

Exactly, I think this tool can't miss if it's exactly what it says it is AT $50 MSRP!! and with that toolset made in USA.

I've been desperate to find a budget friendly tool from leatherman forever...the sidekick was ok....but it had some major flaws.

I really wouldn’t mind a thin EDC tool with a pocket clip similar to the PST or SideClip. The Kick was unnecessarily thick for so few tools.

In my opinion, ALL multitools need to have a pocket clip option.
The biggest injustice by LM was never offering a pocket clip on the Juice series

:iagree: Yup  :tu:

Then I wouldn't need to look for a pocket-slip (instead of that awful, bulky looking LM belt monstrosity)  ::)
They don't like it up 'em!

Nice! Going to have to get one of those. I usually just use the 1/4 adapter with my Rebar, and then common 1/4 extensions. However, this may end up meaning my Wave and Skeletool (as well as Surge) get more use.

REI seems to have mistakenly listed it. I checked, and Bond and Curl don't show up there yet. I'm assuming that since they've listed it, release should be within a month or two.

Sorry but that thing it's big, bulky and bad design compared to my swisstool ratchet:

And I don't have to stick that in another tool before I use it.  It will also fit into smaller places. I'm replacing a Chapman set with one pretty soon.
