Ray your collection is something else

#3 Benchmark Rolox (Blackie Collins' worst design), i really like the look of that one, is it some sort of locking friction folder ? the blade seems to be sitting back a bit in the handle

I think I posted a review of it awhile back but briefly the reason I call it Blackie's worst design(and I respected his design expertise implicitly)is from my own personal experience with it.
Starting with picture #1 you can see the small toothed projection atop the knife. To open the blade you press down on this which rocks the point of the blade up and allows it to slide forward to where it locks in the open position(see picture #2 & #3).
To close the blade you depress the lock tab(the same as a conventional lock back but it is located on the bottom of the knife)and you pull up on the blade and slide it backwards into the handle where it locks into position(see picture #4).
