74mm prices going up already...

...especially the Executive. Seen them for as much as £50 already. In fact is think the cheapest place I’ve seen them recently is the Vic site!  :o

I noticed that too. I bought a red Executive on Amazon Germany recently and it's a lot more expensive right now. And also sold out :(

Yeah I heard that 74mms are being discontinued so I bought my first one on ebay to avoid paying too much, ended but getting a nice hoffritz executive for $10 including shipping.

Yep, noticed that as well. Got on Amazon to grab an Executive and an Ambassador as backups. Already have one of each but was after backups as they’ve been discontinued.

Got the Ambassador, new, for $24 US. But the only Executive shown was $60!!!

I’ll keep my eye out for a reasonably priced unit.

Only thing... the Ambassador was listed as new. But it came in a little black slip, no box. No signs of use, perfect new condition, but odd not to come in a box.

My latest Executive also came with just the black pouch/slip, no box :dunno:

I got a backup Executive. Black was standard pricing, but the Red was 30% more expensive.   :dunno:

I expect they will be going fast. I wouldn't be surprised in Ebay sellers were increasing inventory for future sales.

Fantastic collection. I managed to get and nice advertising Executive on Etsy for £18 which I was happy with. Really like it so have my eye out for more if I can find any at sensible prices ...I came to the 74mm party a bit late it seems!  :twak:

How many Directors and Windsors do you have now? Did you find all the scale patterns?

I think there are 13 stainless steel ones. With some duplicates. I read somewhere there are supposed to be about 30 different guilloché patterns. So there are quite a few missing :)

I'm glad I grabbed a used one off Ebay! Showed up a couple days ago.

Plain red, so far pretty handy- long and skinny enough, the screwdriver tip fit the Phillips screws on our doorknob, that had wiggled loose. Looking forward to trying the Yeager challenge next time (next month?).
