Wenger announced it's new EVOGrip Rangers today:







They are pretty sweet!

I'm a bit disappointed with Wenger blade steel lately, so no EvoRangers for me. But Goddamn that looks good.  :cry:

Can't say I have ever heard any complaints about Wenger's steel not holding an edge before.

Anyone else find this just out of interest?

Well I got to give ya that one. I found it really does not hold an edge well either, but I use mine heavily at work and when I get home just 1 pass on each side with a DMT course and it is back to sharp.

I took pics of an ultra secret new Ranger model as well, but I am not yet cleared to post them.  The marketing manager for North America said he would trust me to take pics but not post them till I got the go ahead.  It's killing me, because I know it was something you guys were looking for!

Nope... I have one of those in my pocket right now... except mine is green with the EVOGrip inlays.  Wenger wanted a shootout between it and an OHT.  :D

I used to carry wenger and felt they went dull quick also. that is when I switched to vic. that was 11 years ago.
