Victorinox Booth at SHOT
on: January 17, 2009, 04:15:17 AM
Here's some teasers... the full story on SOSAKOnline in February.

You aren't going to believe what all is hidden in this 58mm!

SAK building machine:

Victorinox pocket clips:

125th Anniversary cutlery:

125th Anniversary patterns:

Old Soldier is back!

This knife does NOT exist...

And there's even more where that came from!

By the way, who is that big ham-fisted operator on the SAK building machine? And how many SAK's did he screw up before he got one right? :D

Screw up???  That ham-fisted operator created a perfect SAK the first time he touched that machine...

They got the pocket clip idea all right. Now can they spell "low-riding"?  :)

There are only two of those machines in existence...  and I have told them I want it whne they are done!  There will also be video of us using it on SOSAKOnline soon, so you'll be even more amazed.

This machine by the way was developed specifically for the show.  They don't use anything like it in Ibach.

No news on the Rescue Tools.... although they did say they have a special sniper squad hunting down the folks making the knockoffs!  Not really... they have lawyers going after them, which is much more dangerous!

Oh, and Ben, that 58mm knife has, in addition to the regular stuff found on a Classic SD, a 32g flash drive with biometric fingerprint scanner, 256 bit encryption, laser pointer and a Bluetooth wireless presentation remote control compatible with PowerPoint.  All in a doodad no larger than a standard SwissMemory model.

Interestingly I find that SOG knives are one of the few factory mades that really make a low-ridingclip that I like.
