Messer Dolmetsch Gold Edition question

I have seen Messer Dolmetsch Gold Edition Spartans.  Below is a photo of one from the internet.
I recently bought the Classic (seen below).  Does anyone know if this was released at the same time?  Apparently 1985.  :dunno:

Your classic has the scew and not rivet for scissors which means it was before 1991 (?).
I guess it was released the same year. Or it was released either the previous one or the next one.  :dunno:
