Recommend replacement scale for a solid cellidor vintage Explorer

I won’t carry the Explorer often, even after the scales are replaced, but I’m fond of it.

Anyone tried brass?

Is any one making green textured Micarta with brass bolsters?

Looking for scales that express the Explorer name.

I’m thinking of ghurka luggage that is leather and canvas and brass.

A Ghurka Explorer, if you will, but brown micarta instead of leather,  or straw colored canvas micarta with some brass tips and a brown leather lanyard.

No brass bolsters, but as of the time of this post DLT Trading has some red or green linen micarta scales made by RGT.  If you're interested, though, I'd order quickly; it looks like they had several other colors originally that are now out of stock.

All gone but baby puke green. Darn. Thx for the tip though. Good quality scales and USA made.
