Is the side with the scissors not a bit tight  I couldn't get the scissors in without it binding some  ??? Can we get a pic showing how all the tools are with a top down view

No real issues - the file, scissors, flat and lifter clump no worse than the original when lifting any of these out, so it's just a case of pushing back what you don't need. I did add a very thin brass washer on each side of the saw, so that the saw and blade lift independently and don't pull the rest of the tools out behind them. Cap lifter needed a bit of work to clear the pliers, other than that, all tools stock.

2. Add a tiny bit of material to the fold-over area at the knife blade top end to create a little retention notch, like the Pulse had it...

(Image removed from quote.)

What do you guys think?

None of the Pulses I own have any sort of retention notch.  I don't believe that fold-over area is supposed to contact anything. It doesn't on my examples.

Yes, the loki wrenches (as we call them here  ;) ) are sold by member loki_mobile down in the Multitools for Sale subforum :salute: He sales different versions of these and also sells things on ebay  I think forum members get things just a bit cheaper than his eBay listing as well

I have a couple of the 4 way wrenches that fit 4 different sizes of the LM knurled screws and they work great for tightening, loosening and taking apart just about all LM that use that type of fastener :like:

Hadn’t heard of the Bond until I saw a thread about it here, and decided to take a chance on it in spite of the blade issue so many are commenting on.  I really like the old school multi tools much better than the new tools.  I’ve never wanted to have a multitool replace my pocket knife, and from the time I first heard about them, I’ve thought of them as a small toolbox in a pocket.  I like my tool boxes to be made of good old fashioned steel with a lid that closes over my tools.  My Bond came in the mail today.  First impressions are good.  Nice lighter weight pocket tool with an array of basic (but most used tools).  I’ve got a pocket clip ordered.  The blade issue everyone seems to be talking about in Bond is present on my example but to be honest It doesn’t seem likely to lift up on its own with normal use (at least on my example).  I even bounced and shook it around trying to get it to lift up and out, but it stayed put.  I can lift it up and out a little without resistance with my finger, but it stays in the liner unless I manipulate it intentionally.  I could definitely see the Bond as being the answer to a twenty something year quest for a pocketable “full-power” multitool.  As for the sheaths, I like them both.  I’ll probably keep it in the leather because it’s a good match for a new rendition of an old tool, but if I were going to pick one for everyday use, I’d probably go with the nylon for lower maintenance.
