Been fully covered for more than a Month and both shots were literally imperceptible to me.

I thought they were teasing me both times when they said I could get up!?

Yes they were both cute nurses too!

They are down to the 18 year olds here for apointments, though there is a lot more interest in some vaccines than in others

I've had both shots of the Pfizer. Vaccines are open to everyone here down to 12 years old (Pfizer only) for kids.

Got an appointment for my first jab on the 28th of May. Can't come soon enough. No clue on when I will receive the second dose.

I'm a teacher, so have had mine for a few months now.  Just had some arm soreness after the first one and some mild fever and chills for a few hours on the 2nd one.  Mine was the Moderna version.

We got both jabs as of last Monday, so one more week and we’re free and clear, not that we’ll be walking around without a mask,,

Got my first jab of Astrazenica late this afternoon. 5hrs after, I’m having the chills.

Don’t let that discourage you….I read it’s perfectly normal.
Brings me back to the days when the kids were toddlers and had to get vaccinated and would have fever the next day.

Some of you are sure having to wait a long time for your second dose.

The recommendation is for the second dose to be no earlier than 4 weeks later, with the best effects being if the second dose is administered later, best 8 - 12 weeks after the first dose.

The guidelines we're getting over here is three weeks for Pfizer and four for Moderna    :dunno:

Yes. Same here for both of them. I was answering your question why some of us have to wait longer for the second dose. The ones who got AstraZeneca have to wait for the recommended 8-12 weeks after the first dose. It's a longer wait, but if I'm reading the data correctly, the first dose of the AZ is more effective than the other two mentioned.

Thanks,   I didn't realize that the AZ vacc was a much longer interval, so that makes more sense.    :tu:
