I guess I could be lured out of my temporary retirement for a Swisschamp challenge. I would much prefer if the SC were the only admissible SAK though. It's quite iconic and anybody who doesn't own one would be unworthy to participate in the challenge anyway... Any month would be fine for me, I am not planning with any challenges at the moment.
I wouldn't mind that either Steve, but I'm in the Dean51 Challenge. I'm leaning towards the Fall. I agree with Phil in that it would be easier to pack the mighty Swiss Champ then. That, and I think I might actually have a challenge free month Phil and I organized a Swiss Champ Challenge a few years ago that took on a life of its own
Fall works for me. The last SC Challenge "took on a life of its own"? You have me intrigued. What's the Dean51 Challenge?
Be good to have you aboard Simon! The badge for this is set up around the big SAKs from both manufacturers.
Simon, do you ever lurk on forums as Sebastian Tombs?
Dean51 is a dear departed member who really liked traditional pocket knives such as congress, stockman, barlow, etc. We honor his memory by carrying a trad for 30 days.
Nope, that must be someone else? Why do you ask?
Sebastian Tombs is one of Simon Templar's favorite aliases in the Saint books.
So, how is this not the same as the SAK Stack challenge? " Start a new thread and post a photo of a SAK Cybertool (any variant), Swisschamp or Toolchest for thirty (30) consecutive days."
OK.....this may sound extreme.....but then the Swiss Champ is no shrinking violet. What about a Swiss Champ 60-day challenge?August and September! We could call it.... The Go Big ChallengeAnyone feel like taking a big bite on that lure?
Now we're talking!! Nix, count me in!!
