I’m surprised there isn’t a thread to praise the capable cousin of the Classic, with its Philips driver, and its “EDC essential” cap lifter!

 I have thought a lot about how to choose between the rally and the rambler but my rambler stays with me pretty much all the time



[It's not failure if you learn something from it]

And I’m also worried the extra girth might make an unsightly bulge in my pocket…  :D

:D pocket bulge is real I know…but think you’ll be ok :think: :rofl:

Never had one leak, you owe it to yourself to try one.

As much as the Rambler is better than the classic to me, yep it’s all about that combo tool, the pen in the manager makes it that little better again.
Very handy (pun intended) but importantly also very good to use, way better than the pens on 91mm plus models, much more comfortable in hand

Currently running the June Pocket Rocket Challenge with the Rambler, and all I can say is I'm lovin' it.  :D

Can't deal without my Rambler. Replaced my LM Style CS and no regrets! Use it constantly. I have Ebony scales on mine.

Thanks for this thread, Andy!  There is no tool more deserving, IMO.  :cheers:

This one is the only SAK that is always on me, clipped to my house keys.  For its 15th anniversary (purchased 6/1/2006) I popped the scales off, cleaned, polished, lubed and sharpened it.  It's ready for another 15 years. 

The shield is long gone, but the Stayglow still shines as bright as ever.

I like the Rambler and Manager. I used to EDC one for years. No ink leaks, negligible size and weight. Why would anyone choose the Classic over it, is beyond me. I wish they offered Alox and limited editions Ramblers.

An Alox Rambler would be great as a choice, but I don't think I would carry one due to the lack of T&T.  My nylon (Stayglow) scales still look great after 15 years of banging around on my keychain.  I think it would be nice if they would come in all the cellidor colors of the rainbow like the Classic as well.
