SOG Powerpint Black.
on: June 23, 2021, 12:11:45 PM
Hi,

Am keen on this Powerpint Black model. Anyone here has this model? How's the black coating holding up so far? Does it get scratch up easily? The secondary tools deploy smoothly?  Scissor as good as the Leatherman Squirt? Thanks in advance.

I know this is more than a month old, but the PowerPint is a major tease for me. It’s an excellent selection of tools, perfect size for daily carry but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The scissors spring on mine broke without cutting anything, the “file” is just a smooth piece of metal and the eyeglass driver twisted with very little torque. The mystery metal is just too soft, which is a real shame because this tool has so much potential.

I love the pliers. The tips are very fine and I’ve used them in place of tweezers often. The bit driver is also a really cool addition.
