Four pocket clips on one MT should be pretty awesome.  No matter how you stick it in your pocket, you have a clip there.

Joking!

Just getting a clip out and guess what I notice

No screws  Guess I need to source some stupid fasteners now :bnghd:

That is what I get for not reading to description on Amazon ::)

What thread fasteners work with the 2-56 tap and drill bit set ???

What I do know is that 2-56 is pretty much the standard in the knife world so checking out one of these should help you out.

Can't you harvest se screws from some beater knives or parts bin. Every MTO member with more than 5 years here should have a parts bin

Try checking at your local hardware store, mayve you luck out

I sat and thought about anything that might have tiny screws on it  I had a junk MT set given to me a couple years back that I would never use or even regift to anyone  :D low and behold one of the smaller plier tools may have about 4 screws that will work for me :woohoo: I just hope they are close to the thread size I have for the tap I have

I wasn't aware you could get tap and drill sets for individual sizes.
Will it go through stainless steel OK?

Guess we will see  the sides of the handles on most tools are thin so hopefully it won't be terribly hard to drill through  :salute:

I’m pretty sure that Benchmade clip screws will fit. I have seen a lot of aftermarket ones of different colors and materials on eBay.

Well the tap and drill bit set was a bust ::) I was using the drill bit and getting nowhere fast :D I changed to another bit that was the same size that I already had and it drilled just fine in the PST II junk tool that I have :salute: but when I tried to tap it the tap broke

I did get both holes tapped but now none of the screws I have fit :bnghd: I even tried a P2 clip screw and it didn't work

So now I need to find another tap and some screws that will fit

Yup, SS is a female dog to drill, let alone tap. Try finding something made for SS, you might have better luck with it. Also, drill press and low speed with lubricant hwlp a lot.

Once I swapped to one of the drill bits I already had at home, it drilled easily ::) The one that came with the tap barely scratched the surface though  Tapping was going fine until the tap decided to break :ahhh I will get a better brand and I am sure it will do better :salute:

I have done this type of stuff at work before while fixing things but never this small  My dad has a tap set and I should have just went and saw if he had one that small because he will never drill and tap anything this small :D
