DAY 21   I was out all afternoon in a preserve, but was busy with the public, and I forgot a pic.   Instead, you get a pic of me opening a bag of dog chow.

Day 21
I used to carry the Schrade CH7 every day before I got into multitools.  It is a great knife and it's just a shame they don't make them anymore.  The Skeletool is a great EDC. It carries like a large knife with the added utility of having pliers and screwdrivers.  My favorite combo edge however, even though it wouldn't cut the palm frond, is the Myerchin A377P.  It is so light that you can forget you're carrying it.  Great for all day comfort unless you forget you're carrying it and wander into a restricted area.

Day 21

Somehow, I like the type of cookies that little kids like for after school snack to go with my coffee :dunno:

Making a clean cut so the plastic package keeps everything fresh.
I sometimes like chocolate chip or oreos with coffee.

DAY 21 (catch up post)

Yesterday (21st) I helped put up a CCTV camera for a friend and then promptly left my phone at their place  ::)

Thankfully the phone was retrieved this morning and here's the Wingman helping re-position the bracket  :tu:

Powernoodle Day 22

Tofu marinated in your choice of teriyaki, garlic, maple syrup or taco seasoning.  A few minutes in the toaster oven and it is quite yummy.

Day 22

On 2-22-22 or 22-2-22 (depending on which side of the pond you're on)...

I cut some bubble wrap to add to the padding of an insulated bag... To safely transport some bottles of "craft" hot sauce.

I started doing this fairly recently.  But I just cook the dickens out of it in a pan, with lots of garlic ginger onions and teriyaki sauce.  It's addictively good.  I used to put it in stir frys... but this is the way to go.  I don't suppose there's much nutrition in it this way, but has all the flavor of teriyaki chicken with very little effort and chance for error

Daily Amazon delivery.  This time a budget headlamp - or whatever you people on the other side of the ocean call it.

There is a new wave of headlamps that have flexible bands of LEDs - I don't know what they are called other than that - that throw light in almost 180 degrees.  So its a wide area light, as opposed to others which are more of a spot or have a limited radius.  And they tend to be super light weight as well.  After years of holding flashlight in my teeth like a yahoo, having a light stuck to the forehead is quite liberating.

Oh!  Nice!  I always preferred a handheld flashlight, but the LED and the 180 degree beam are advantages. Although the narrow forward beam goes wherever you turn your head, a particularly noisy night with lots of dry leaves on the ground results in a lot of heads flopping around like ping-pong balls, and lights flying around like a rock concert.
