My new favorite knife.

Ok, so, today my wife gave me an early birthday present.  I have developed a love affair with the Cadet, and today she got me my dream Cadet.  The RED alox Cadet!!!  WHAT A PIECE OF ART!!!  I LOVE this knife.  It is my new favorite knife in all the world.  I love the color red on a knife (if it falls in the grass, or just about anywhere, you can see it.  Plus, a SAK means red to me.), I love small knives (small, inconspicuous and easy in the pocket means it will probably be carried often), and I love a good patina on a knife (the Stainless steel won't develop a patina, but the eventual fading of the red will be like a type of pocket patina, which will show wear, use, and character..... or like Def calls it, "character marks").  This little tank is a workhorse and gentlemen's knife all in one.  I love this thing.  I am soooooo excited.
Gotta love that woman of mine.

The Cadet is really a great SAK! I love carrying one of mine; they are SO damn thin!

Then you will definitely need to pick up a red Farmer while they are still around (brand new) and a red Pioneer, both are beautiful. I still need to crack and pick up a cadet.

Fantastic SAKs.  Mine is a regular in my EDC rotation.  I only have a silver one and may need to pick up one of the coloured ones as well.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Cadet  :tu:  Great little SAK. It will serve you well. I`ve got a red one also. I`m surprised how well I like it. I normally dont lean towards small knives. But the Cadet has impressed me.
