Wait, I change my picks again - a claw hammer and a flame thrower!  Note that a flamethrower can be classified as a multitool because you can open a bottle with the nozzle.
You joke, but if you get the zombie apocalypse scenario then you chose well  :drink:

Well, my answer would be Wave+ with bit kit and bit extension, along with an Explorer with plus scales.

That will be my last contribution to this thread, I think you misunderstand the spirit of a forum discussion and would have been better off making a poll.

There were things I wanted to know that couldn't be answered by a poll, such as mods, and reasons.  So I created a game and you wanted a discussion, okay you don't want to play, I get it.  Thanks for your choices.   What I am about to say I mean with all sincerity.  Good luck finding your bliss.

You mentioned four tools.  The rules state only two.
I did but i didnt say i would have all those 4 tools, just pointed why i would carry Charge TTi and WorkChamp over others but since situation would be just like now except we wouldnt have opportunity to change our tools to anything else.
I definetly would choose Spirit (butterknife) and WorkChamp since those 2 tools can cover allmost everyhing since Spirit has Plus set so i could carry wrench with bits so basicly it would cover all 1/4 bits i would ever need.

So WorkChamp and Spirit plus (butterknife) would be my rest of life MTs

Not too sure about TSA compliance, maybe you can get a waiver.  What's the warranty and customer service  like on a Flamethrower?

There is a way that you can have two and keep your dignity.  It's a tricky one, almost a riddle.  Think about it.  Let me know if you want a hint.

If I already have what I need then how is it more dignified carrying more than I need?

1) New Surge (+bit kit)

2) Crunch (for the wrench option)

If I'm subject to UK carry laws then an elastic band and paperclip  ::)
They don't like it up 'em!

You get your brain as MT, but it's a freebie, exempt from limitations. Yes dignity, because you won't lose control of your pants.  Everyone should bring their brain along for the ride.  I've been caused of leaving mine behind on occasion.

To wax philosophical; any tool is a multitool if you're creative. ;)

But the OP is going for a literal interpretation, so back to literal: only "tool" was specified, but subsequent posts have clarified that the OP is asking about multitools.  The situation in which these two multitools are used wasn't covered, which is odd, considering the literal nature of the thread, :pok: :D   but I'll assume "everyday life".

So for everyday life:
  • Smartphone. It's a true mutitiool (phone, flashlight, camera, apps, and it contains the sum total of all human knowledge/idiocy via the internet).
  • Victorinox Classic SD

Stil at a loss for my "other" tool .  Maybe just to pick one I'll got with Swisschamp  :dunno:.  There is lots of duplication yet the smaller size maybe useful in certain applications.  I do like the addition of the mag glass.  With plus scales I also get a pen and pin which has always been helpful even if not used often.

Surge and Swisschamp.

If you feel comfortable with a "phone" as one of your choices, then who am I to deny you.
"Phone", who are we kidding?  Why don't we just call them pocket computers?
