Another great design wasted on poor execution.

Let us know if you can fix the problems (loosen the screws, clean, oiling etc.). Though I did not manage to loosen the screws on the Prybrid Utility (even with heat) without mangling them.

I just uploaded a Video of the Dissassembly and showcases the problem a little more.

Looks like “lockdown” is a jinxed name to use this day and age  :facepalm:


….anyway, just thinking out loud….in the (unlikely) scenario that I need to mod one, would working on the plastic thumb studs make any difference to making the tool OHO?  I was thinking about the thumb studs of the MP700/800 which are small but functional.

the thumbstuds are some sort of pot steel that is welded into the tools...annoying to say the least.
