Hi my friends!

i just found this thread on a spanish forum, its a lovely victorinox classic (the silver model) acid engraved by Antonio Montejano (a true master of his trade)

That is beautiful work!  :salute:

An odd idea struck me while looking at that picture. Could acid engraving be used to create the nail file pattern on other surfaces? There is a slight visual similarity...  :think:

Yeah, the guy that did that is a master of that art, i have seen pics of him using a microscope to help him draw the fine details on some pieces.

i think you can get a file like finish with acid, not sure how, but i am sure can be done.
