Interesting, I guess my 4-way screwdriver like Fireman’s would fit, I’ve actually carried that everyday for the past year since I got it for xmas last year,, I’m just not up for pics everyday,,

I really want to go light on this challenge, so much so that I've been weighing knives to see which is lightest.

I nearly always carry a knipex Cobra XS in my handbag, so I'll try this challenge :-)
(Picture pending, but it will be an XS)

Is bit kit and ratchet okay as a "dedicated tool"? (I don't see myself carry every full size drivers I have bits for)

Several of us are carrying bit kits and ratchets, so that is fine. As I understand it, ReamerPunch's intent is that each tool serve a single function, so no SAKs and plier-based MTs.

Happy New Year DAY 1  Here's the kit.  I really don't want/plan to carry both pliers or both knives, but I'm unable to make a choice.   Expect this to get pared down during the month.  Pete says he's sitting this one out with his new Christmas toy.

It's finally not a Cobra XS for the first day, but a simple 1.5 hex driver from Wiha

Good luck to everybody !
I will definitively follow this thread, as I quite like tools ! I recently bought my own handtools as I was using my parents one before.
Wiha, Wera, PB Swiss Tools, Bahco, Hazet... and so on ! I prefer to spend more once than multiple times for cheap stuff !  :salute:

As a friend often say, "I bought a Mercedes because I don't have enough for 4 Renault"  :D

Day 1

Ok, I'm still in Day 1, and I'm already a little annoyed with all of the tools in my pocket.  Yeah, I am a pocket-carry guy, so I have the knife and screwdriver clipped to my pocket (and tapping against each other), the prybar in my wallet (great spot for it), and the Knipex pliers just loose in my pocket (yuk!).  I'm already considering a pouch like most of you are using, but I'm not sure how I'll carry the pouch.

So far, I have only used the Buck knife.  It's a little large for my daily need, but it worked great opening a package, a box, and breaking down another box.  It feels light and cheap, but that was the point when I purchased it.

Day 2

Today I helped the manager tighten the screw. :woohoo:
The cleaning lady told the manager that a screw in the bathroom was so loose, she was afraid it might drop off and we'd lose it. "We need a screwdriver," I heard them say, and I leapt into action with a massive grin, like the Road Runner. "You need a screwdriver? I've got screwdrivers," I said.
The manager removed the cap, and looked at the screw head. "It's one of those hexagonal ones."
"I've got it. Looks like a #4."
I took the bits out, popped the #4 in the mini ratchet, and handed it to him.

This is a recreation. I did not take a photo of the screw at work. It's weird enough that I carry an assortment of tools on my person.

Yeah, that really illustrates the merits of SAKs and multi-tools. And mini ratchets.  :D
But a small edc pouch helps a lot. I carry my Vanquest PPM Slim in my left cargo pocket. For my 6" Cobra and Plier wrench, I carry them in plastic sleeves. These keep the pliers closed, and allow them to sit properly in a thin pocket.

DAY 2  I found my P38 before my wife started making soup, so I got to do some testing.  The P38 beat our wall mounted, crank operated can opener on small cans of chilis.  It was also far easier and efficient than I remembered it being.  I think I should carry it all the time.  Here it is showing off after the victory.
