the part I miss most is the wanton destruction.

We only did destruction (not really wanton, as there was a purpose).  Reconstruction was for someone else.  Prying doors, breaking windows, pulling ceilings, cutting holes in roofs.  It was a job for vandals.  ;) :D

I am feeling just fine. I have no symptoms, so just waiting for a negative result.
I was hoping to get to go outside and use my dedicated tools, not do a 30 Day Isolation Challenge. :(

Day 17

I spent the day doing chores around the house, and my pocketful of tools clickity-clacking around came in very handy today.  I just grabbed two pics...

I took this pic because I found the angle of the Knipex plier head annoying.  I prefer standard (straight?) pliers, but maybe just because that's what I'm used to.  The Knipex worked fine.

This pic highlights why I carry a multitool while working around the house.  I wanted to throw an old TV tray away, but I needed a screwdriver so I could remove the leg (so it would fit in my trashcan).  A multitool screwdriver saves me a LOT of trips to the garage... but this month, it's my pocket toolbox screwdriver.  It worked fine, but it's only a matter of time before I lose a bit or the cap.  It also feels super cheap like it will easily break soon.

Day 18

Having discovered the bottle opener I was using wasn’t great and finding the combo tool on my usually carried rambler good but not great, thought I’d try these out once the challenge is over

Day 15

It has been hectic at home and work lately, making tough for me to keep up with taking and uploading pictures.

Here is the tool kit with my Milwaukee linesman pliers and heavy duty wire strippers:

Day 16

I knew that my EAB went awol recently. I just discovered that my Leatherman ratchet is missing also

Hopefully they will show up in my pickup or work van.

DAY 17  Catching up from yesterday because I got home late.  The full moon was going to be bright so I started a hike at sunset and came back well after dark.  It's a pretty remote area, so I took my Opinel instead of the Gerber or razor knife.

Day 18

I had to wrestle with the bathroom window fly screen. But I won. I removed it, which was not easy, and then tried to re-install it, which was even harder. I had to use the flathead to pry it from underneath, while pushing and pulling, until it finally fell into place. How on Earth did the guy install it in two seconds?

Those are a PITA to take out and put back in.  I've used a putty knife, but it really doesn't make it easier.

DAY 18  Back to the razor knife.  This morning I found flashlights my wife ordered, and sliced one of them open before I realized they had a pre-cut opening on the back of the package.

Looks like fun to me :dd: but it does suck not to have the pieces you need to finish :ahhh I spent most of last year waiting on different parts to do my titanium Charge knife  :ahhh

Are you going to cut the frame to make it a Charge?

Love to see a thread about this when you finish  :like:

Day 19

Seeing as the postage was more than the cost of the scales decided to stock up a bit :) mixture of 84mm and 91mm plus scales. He only had a front 85mm Wenger scale but threw in a couple of ecoline front scales for free knowing I was after some which was nice, shame he didn’t have the backs

Finally i "Un-modded" it, it's back to its Wave form :)

nah, I have a spare Charge frame, but for some reason the lock is too long and mess with the washer : I gave up and put it all back together (my Anodized scales may go on the XTi though)

DAY 19  One of the best things about living where I do is that I can wear sandals every day of the year.   :woohoo:  Opening a new pair of Bedrocks so I can send in an old pair for new soles.

Hi Rich, they're from ebay, I usually get them from a seller called viktryls who lots of us on MTO use, but these were actually from a seller called shtirr
