Day 18 - used the scissors to help out with the gift wrapping so I didn't have to wait for the dedicated ones and took a pic with a Santa

But later this evening I thought it would be fun to make a keyring from a pattern that I bought some time ago, this was my first try with some scraps I had from an earlier project and the rebar came in handy while putting the actual ring on

Day 18

So I am walking down the hall and I see my wife looking concerned over the washer banging too much during the spin cycle.  Without a word, I stop, whip out my Rebar, and I tighten one of the legs to stop it from banging.  As I start to walk off, she says "What, no picture?"

Day 19

Had been busy doing easy chores at my mother's house: replaced a kitchen light switch, took apart a pedestal fan for cleaning and lubing, tied down a papaya tree to a fence so it stays upright; sadly, no action pictures. But found my Old Dad's toolbox so, a beauty shot. Afterwards, some "premium" coffee.

I'd love to see it on one of the "Christmas Elves", and then see the face of the children ("see kids, even the Elf protects itself!")

                                            Day 19

I sometimes pair the Rebar with the Splice. I used to think that scissors is not something one needs in their pocket, I could do every scissor job with my very sharp knife. Yea, well, trim your beard or mustache without scissors, I dare you  :D And to my surprise that sometimes do need to happen during the day - a hair or two of the mustache go up and start tingling my nose, I calm them down with my hand. Minute or so later they are up again and it drives me nuts until I remove them. Technically probably could do that with the Rebar's pliers but I prefer not to try  :D

Nice tool chest! Love those old ones and will hopefully get one in the future!

Day 19

Tomorrow is trash day, so you know I used my Rebar blade a lot... other than that, I spent all day on the sofa.  It was glorious  :dd:
