Deny everything, admit nothing.  That's a really nice pic, even if it didn't happen.  ;)

I am one of those lucky ones that don't get the "why do you need THAT'' or "you got ANOTHER knife"  :D
Though I might have a problem of a different matter - when I showed them to her she said "This one (pointing at the micra) is for the baby because it's tiny; this one (pointing at the Skeletool) is for me, because I like shapes; and the last one is for you ( the Rev).  :D
I did bought her a Vic Huntsman with the nickname I call her engraved on the blade a while ago so I might have started something there  :climber:

Nice pictures for day 21, people, and glad to see the collection growing Davis! :tu:

Oh the collection is growing all too well. The same can't be said for my savings though

Day 22- nice pics everyone! I had the worst day and a nose that just won't stop bleeding, been trying to make it stop for 3 hours now.. But I did get a yearly Christmas present from my oldest daughter, it is a household papper holder she made at school so that's nice!

Hello there
Still late and playing catch up.
My day 21 pic is a pic of the Rebar and a large crystal my daughter gifted me.
Both pretty items.

My Day 22  pic and it is some work this time.
I have finished a data logging exercise in some concrete so it was time to cut the ends of the wires.   Easy work really.

Day 22

I'm outside and in the garage doing typical dad things, and I decide to splice together a Christmas decoration wire that was nibbled in half by a rabbit.  While I was cutting the electrical tape and thinking of various ways to murder a rabbit, Mr. Rebar bit me!     It was just a tiny cut, but it was great material for my Rebar Challenge pic!!  :woohoo:

:iagree: The Rebar's cutting tools are no joke!  The saw on mine cut my knuckle right to the bone a number of years ago.

My cut didn't hurt, but your cut sounds horrible  :o

Sometimes those that don't hurt can be horrible too. The story of how I found out we also have arteries in our fingers :
It was early-ish in the morning, I was still sleepy but had a ton of work to do so I started right away. Needed to cut something, took a steel ruler and the box cutter. First few cuts everything was alright until on one of them a part of my thumb was sticking in front of the ruler. Slashed right through it and the corner of the nail also went out. For a second I saw the flesh snow white until it started pouring that dark liquid. Put few napkins over it and squeezed the thumb inside the palm. Getting dressed was kind of hard but I managed it and went to the hospital (back then I lived about 5-6 min walking distance from it). They took me to the doctor, from whom I herd that I've slashed the "digital artery". Color me impressed. The bleeding wouldn't stop so he was wondering what to do - it is artery and pumps good amount of liquid but being the tip of a finger one it's small so he doubted that it would take even one stitch. So he calls for a colleague to discuss what to do. He comes but he is also unsure so they call a third doctor. That is when I got a bit worried. Eventually they slammed a generous scoop of some smurf that looked to me like animal fat on it, wrapped it in so much bandage it became 7 times larder and said to stay there. If the bleeding wouldn't stop in 15 minutes they would try to stitch it but I better pray it stops. It stopped, they gave me some pills and let me go home. Got back few times for bandage change. It heeled nicely, I have feeling in my thumb but a corner of it the skin is strange and it don't feel like it's mine.
Be careful with those sharp things and if time comes that you need to stay awake during the night - I have some more sharp stories  :D

P.S. Re-reading that sounds like I have some super powers and I don't feel pain. There were no pain initially, probably adrenaline rush or something. Or I squeezed it so hard it went numb :D
But when they started cleaning the wound I felt it real good. There were two trainee students so the doctor told them - "watch how the limbs got pale, that's a self protecting mechanism of the body - it draws the blood to the vital organs and the brain. When you see that there is a good chance the patient is going to pass out any second so you lay him down". I did not loose consciousness but got lightheaded, hyperventilated and for a moment I saw everything pretty blurry and dark.
