I use this stuff too. I also will file away the dry skin at the crack before it opens up enough to bleed and become sore.

I do the same, doesn't always work though  :(

Just 10 more days :ahhh
70 more days for the challenge I'm currently participating in...

This stuff works wonders if you can only get it open.
I've also found that stuff effective...but mine is in a squeeze tube.

Again, more great photos from awl!

That one is a real tour of duty compared to the typical challenge :tu:

Day 19

Today I'm reporting the use of other tools.  I was doing a lot of work in the yard today, and I needed to work on a couple sprinkler heads.  There was no way I was going to let my precious Mini get in the dirt and the mud, so I grabbed my cheap knife and multitools from the garage.  That Old Timer and the 2 Bibury cost me $35 total, so I don't mind using them in the dirt.  :tu:

When I was done, the Mini opened my orange cream soda.  I'm sorry, Mr Mini, but you make a lousy bottle opener.

Day 19

Bolts came off this dial control on my stove.  Had to hold the post and pull forward lining up the holes so that I could get the threads on the shallow bolts to grab-a-hold of the mechanism they are meant to hold in place.

Day 20

February 20

The month is going so fast that it’s suddenly the 20th already!

Used the Mini to open a bag of chips for afternoon snacks. The bag of chips didn’t have that notch to help you open it properly.

WHOA WHOA WHOA,   You got your mini onto a plane, and in your CARRY-ON!?!???   :ahhh   How you do this???!?      :o

I had my Swiss+Tech Utilit-key and a Leatherman Style PS taken by the TSA and those don't even really have a blade on them. (not anything worth mentioning anyway)  Are you flying a private plane or something?

So jealous.  Always feel naked on planes without a blade.   :(

Day 20

I don't have many interesting folding knives like Steve and David, but here are some Buck knives I really like.

Day 21

February 21

Happy Monday to all!
I figured that since the Mini did fair as a can opener, might as well use it as a can opener this morning! I got a better grip on the tool this time, since I now know what configuration to use. I only had a slight problem with the final millimeter which held the cover to the rim.
