Hello, I’m glad to be here. I now own a Classic in red, Classic SD in black, and two Climbers in black. Great knives. Any other people out there who like the Climber?

Nate

Welcome to the wonderful world of SAKs. Everyone here likes all SAKs, esp. the Classics, Climber, Tinkers (me), Alox, etc.
You're off to a good start, only about 100 other models to go

Welcome DH1.
I like the Climber as well.  Seems that Victorinox uses the Climber for a lot for special scaled knives as explained here:
https://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Climber

You may want to try and find a Climber Small (84mm).  Discontinued, so it is hard to find, but would be nice to have since you're a fan of the Climber.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Welcome to the forum  The Climber and the Classic are, well, absolute classics, so it's hard to imagine anyone here not liking them. Which is not to say there might not be even better SAKs around: the Classic in particular is seriously outclassed by the Rambler/Manager, at least imho. And if you like the Climber, the Compact and the Pioneer X could prove to be interesting alternatives.

Welcome aboard, Nate! I concur with what the others have said. Just look out if you ever get into Alox!  :D

Welcome aboard!

I’m also a big Climber fan, and carried one in Stayglow for years.  I don’t carry one as often anymore, but if I could only carry one knife/SAK/MT for some reason, the Climber would remain a strong contender.

As others have mentioned, you owe it to yourself to try a Pioneer X, the 93 mm Climber analog.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Yeah I’m seriously thinking of trying an Alex knife, and would like a customized huntsman perhaps. I can see where this could get addictive…

Greetings DarkHorse... I love your comics!  :P

People seemed to think I was lying when I gave them my Christmas list, so I'll be doing some shopping throughout this year to correct their thinking, and the Climber is certainly one I'm after!

Welcome Nate. As others have already said you're off to a good start
I have carried climbers a lot in the past. When I had to work in an office/warehouse it was my go-to SAK. My edc choices have evolved over time, but the climber is still in the rotation at times. Classics (or ramblers) live on all my keychains, even tractor keys.

And a good choice it is. Mine was the Super Tinker; back in 2008, I found a Phillips more useful than a corkscrew. Things have changed since then.
