Love that Seiko Powernoodle!

Its an automatic, which I am not totally into because it croaks if you don't wear it for a few days, but the Black Monster is somewhat of an iconic watch in its genre.  I have one in orange too.  After getting used to the Casio atomic/solar lineup, its hard to go back to anything else.

 Day 22

We got new toothbrushes for the dogs. Unfortunately they only had one color, so i used the awl to mark them with the first letter of the dogs names in order to tell them apart.

Also used the saw to clean the brushes:

DAY 22

Not much work based action today so when I got home I sorted out some of my SAR kit, including the old school nav' options  ;)

Here's the home carry Spirit pointing out where I am on one of my Ordnance Survey Maps (No: 172 Explorer if you wish to know  :dunno:)

Thanks guys!  They're brother and sister, with the female around 110 pounds and the male at 95 pounds.  Gentle giants but I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of those jaws.

Surge, that's definitely old school!  The most underused item at my station are road maps . I still carry an atlas in my car.  Don't have to worry about the batteries dying on a map!

Day 22: Speaking of dogs, we put up a new fence to let them out in the morning.  Definitely not enough to secure them but it gives them some boundaries.  Swisstool clipped zip straps and cut fencing.  I couldn't get many pics.

I was actually thinking about that when I put it on my belt this morning Phil!  You know the saying about any landing you can walk away from :D

True. Best if you can keep them to one landing for each take-off I suggest. Took me a while to learn that.

Day 22

Used the SwissTool in the shop today - pliers and knife had action as well as the saw. Here is a pic using the saw to trim edge banding. Worked great - I was impressed at how smooth a cut it made.

We're going to see how it goes this time.
I'm hoping you're successful!

The awl, pliers and scissors all helped with a paracord project.
Cool paracord project! :tu:

I sorted out some of my SAR kit, including the old school nav' options  ;)
Hey, they don't rely on batteries or a GPS signal! :tu: Wonder how many of the generations following ours know how to use them?

Barry, those sheepdogs are awesome...and more than ten times the weight of my dog.

Again, first-rate work by awl! :tu:

Day 23/31

Another posing day. I cut an apple for morning tea, but could not take a pic, thus a posing pic with todays watch choice. Casio Protrek, one if my favourites.
