Nice looking SwissTool RS Barry. I think that's the way I'll go for this challenge. I'll be honest a SwissTool is over cooking my EDC requirements by quite an order of magnitude given I mostly drive a desk. But it's time to get re-acquainted.

But here's a question. I happen to have two RS. One is an older, company branded, model I picked up on the Forum and the other a normal production version. Am I allowed to swap out between them?

I'll play too :) Choosing between the Spirit and the Swiss tool was a tough one. I have both in the X configuration so pretty much the same tools. Finally decided on the big brother because I carry it less and with it's size and weight will be more of a challenge. Easy day into the challenge for the Spirit. Lunch duties and a trip on the train. I do like the blade and the fact that it is lefty friendly. It is wickedly sharp and keeps the edge for a decent time.

Awesome start!

Day 1 (and the day is still early) and I have already put my SwissTool to use.

The first pic is my SwissTool and accessories I will be using during the challenge. I added some other hex bits I use regularly to my kit so I have what I need with the ratchet. I also swapped the leather case for the nylon one, but honestly I do not use the sheath on my belt often and just use this to keep everything organized and in one place. First task was opening a package with the scissors.

I know the price would be prohibitive, but can you imagine a Titanium Swisstool or Spirit?  :ahhh  A pocket tool box that would hardly weigh anything at all!
