With S30V, nickel silver, and G10, the 110 Pro is perhaps the most durable version of the 110 ever.
That one would have me at G-10! :like:

DAY 03

Not only a great slicer, the large blade makes it a great spreader, too.

I just wanted to share a link on the History of the Buck 110 Hunter from 1964-1986.

If I've deciphered everything correctly my oldest 110 is a V3V8.    :D

Day 2

I knew I was going to spend a good part of the day working outdoors, so I went with the lightest 110 I own, the 110 Slim Pro.  I spent hours raking and shoveling mulch, but didn’t have any use for the 110 until it came time to open this package, a nice USA-made Uncle Henry…

Day 3

I cleaned and whittled my fingernails with the 110 Hunter Sport.  It may be slightly larger than ideal for these tasks, but with the acute clip point and razor sharp edge it was definitely up to the job…

Day 3: Yesterday, I accidentally messed up the big Stihl FS70R weedeater, and got stuck using an underpowered entry-level homeowner model. I had accidentally dislodged the spring that serves as an electrical contact from the spark plug boot, and in the process of wrestling with it, popped the spark plug boot off too. I thought I'd accidentally bent the spring too, and just made matters worse, as the only tools I had handy were my PST and a cheap junk pair of knockoff Vise-Grips. I could not adjust these junky, rusted pliers right, and accidentally crushed the spring slightly.

I did some research online, finding the part was: insanely expensive (boot and spring were just under $20), and that the spring was only slightly bent out of shape. I was able to fix it without spending a dime. The spring is slightly damaged due to being crushed, but it worked fine once I got things back together.

Used these tools to get it back in, as well as fixing a drawer. The 110 wasn't used.  The Crescent Vise-Grips may be cheap, but they are surprisingly nice for being like $6 from Tractor Supply. They're MUCH better than the current Chinese-made Irwin Vise Grip products. Can't wait until Malco starts producing this size in the Eagle Grips lineup (which is made in the former Vise Grip plaint in DeWitt, NE)--they have some larger standard jaw offerings, but nothing close to my most-used sizes--the 5WR and 6LN.
