I have been thinking of putting an Apple Tag on our dog’s collar. She bolts out any given chance.

We have several Apple Tags.  If I had a dog, I would do the same thing.

Day 14

The Crunch could not help me at work today, so I am letting it drive my truck home:

Sorry Juan

That was just a joke. The last picture was something I found online. My truck, my Crunch, and myself are all fine.

Used the Crunch to do a scale swap on a couple of MiniChamps.
Shame the one now has a broken backspring. But at least one lives on!

Tried the Wire Cutter and Wire Stripper with some 18 and 14 Gauge wires I had lying around. Not a real task, just playing around to see what they are capable of. Wished I had some 10-12 Gauge to try too.
I still need to test out my new Squirt E4. Its wire stripper is probably better than the worn-out dedicated wire stripper in my toolbox. The Crunch's wire stripper is interesting...probably more effective than the wire stripper notch on SAKs, too.

Day 15

Good job everyone on making it to day 15. This is the end of this journey for me. But I will continue to post pics to support others who are continuing.

Happy to note that I have used all of its tools except the bottle opener. Did not know there was one until Rich pointed it out during this challenge. Learned a few things about the Crunch's capabilities and limitations and it grew on me. It will definitely get used more going forward.

The locking plier action, snap, feel and it's portability is what makes it a good MT IMO. The other tools are just ok and acceptable for its size I guess. Best use is as a 3rd hand as others have pointed out as well. I still don't know for whom this MT is for but it's one of the coolest LM MTs for sure.

Day 15

Not much use for the tool today.  Religious holiday and all that.  Hopefully there’ll be more stuff to post come Monday.

Nice writeup and pics  :tu:   Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the Crunch when we started this, but it is growing on me too.

I’m gonna admit that I’m quite tempted to tap out on day 15 as well. Maybes it’s just bad timing. I really haven’t shared anything new or ‘real’ work with the Crunch. I’ll give it til Monday when I’ll decide if I should wrap things up.

I would really love to be able to do that on a regular task basis, it’s just that I am so afraid to lose the screw that goes into that part of the Crunch.

I don't know if I would lose the screw, but I would definitely drop it... more than once.

Day 15

At the 15 day mark, I definitely have not used the Crunch as much as I would have liked.  My multitool use seems to be either feast or famine lately.  At this point, my favorite things about the Crunch are its portability (smaller than normal Leatherman size) and the serrated sheepsfoot blade  :tu:

My pic for today is the Crunch next to one of my previous, and much more expensive habits.  At that point in my life, I was much less able to pay for the habit too

Yep.. good eye  :tu:  It's a P Bass with custom pickups.  Best tone of every bass I have owned.

Day 16

I have a "didn't carry" report today.  I was at another high school today (my daughter's competitions), so I prefer to have something smaller in my pocket than a big, scary Leatherman.   :ahhh   The funny thing is that the Crunch isn't much larger than my Super Tinker.  When I got home, I used the Crunch to open some Amazon packages, so at least I still used it today  :tu:

Thanks Poncho. Watched your Crunch video yesterday after the charge knife video and learned that the newer ones have a different style of branding. Going back and looking at the pics in this thread I notice that now

Have not got to requesting a badge. I too need to get on a computer because that’s the only way I know.
