Day 29

My ST family. I have been using just the SS ST 300 for this challenge and wished I had done a rotation .

Most of the time I use a sawzall with a metal cutting blade when cutting a section of cable from the reel. Some people use a ratcheting cable cutter. I used to use a small cable cutter to do it, but that was when I was younger, had more energy, and non-aching joints  :D

I sometimes notice the difference in shades of white wall plates, but I could never be bugged to care. (I lived in the same house from 1979 till 2000.) Many of the wall plates in my house are oil-rubbed bronze or similar such. They have likely been seen in past challenges.

Great work by awl. Glad I don't have to cut that thick cable!

Day 30

Since I normally carry pocket-friendly multitools with one-hand opening blades, I expected this to be a painful challenge - the Super Tool 300 is a beast with no pocket clip and no one-hand opening tools.  After attaching the Nite Ize HipClip and following AndyS’s MUCH appreciated tip on keeping the Super Tool closed in my pocket, I got used to carrying the Super Tool much quicker than I expected.  I didn’t like going without a one-hand opening blade, but I got used to that too.  I did a lot of projects around the house this month, and having a heady-duty tool at my side was very nice!

 :woohoo: Big Congrats, Rich :woohoo:

I use to carry a Supertool of some sort for years (I am counting the Rebar in on this as well  ) and was never at a loss for a tool with the great toolset of a Supertool  I am sure a pocket clip would work great as well :tu: I just usually go with an OG ST if I am gonna pocket carry :salute:

I will still revert back to my Charge now though  :D

Congrats completing the challenge Rich.  :woohoo: Yes, carrying this beast loose in a pocket is not ideal and a pocket clip attachment like yours is the way to go. Enjoyed your daily posts and commentary.

Day 30

Did a collage to celebrate the end of the challenge  :).  Even though from time to time I use the ST series for fun my daily use MTs have outside opening blades and that's what I missed the most during the challenge. I got a kid and dog around me so I always keep my MTs in a closed configuration even during tasks so unfolding and folding the ST multiple times during a task got tiring. That said you cannot beat the size and robustness of the tools and enjoyed using them. Thanks to everyone for liking my pics, encouragement and kept me going or else I would have bailed out early .

Congratulations to all participants; I've enjoyed reading and seeing your daily stories, validating my feelings towards my ST300. Although I might be carrying something else ( even my Swisstool or Surge), when it's heavy duty what I need I look no further than my ST to count on a job done.

So, a round for all of you: cheers!!!

Day 30

I bought a small electric dirt bike for my grandson's birthday. The instructions say that the dirt bike has up to 40 minute run time. I believe that will not be long enough to suit him, so I bought 2 additional batteries with wiring harnesses to have charged and ready to install. The ST 300 and a square to hex adapter came in handy to open the battery compartment:

I enjoyed spending the month interacting with you guys and using my Super Tools. Due to other challenges, I have not spent much time using them since last June. Given that I typically have a tool pouch and a dedicated work knife, Super Tools work great for me and are my preferred MTs.
