DAY 20

This Huntsman only came out of pocket for a photo. No home food today :-\

I did find some mesquite beans drying out. Even rained Saturday and another good chance tomorrow.

To be fair, I probably could've held it better, and I didn't tell him that. Mostly I just emphasized he needed to take it landscape so I wouldn't have to rotate it to get it to post.

Powernoodle Day 21

I like to have several covid tests on hand for special occasions. This version made by Roche is my favorite.

Hope you enjoyed the camping.
I hate those little plastic things.  It seems they either leave holes or I miss and end

Had a great time camping, but came home feeling like I was coming down with a cold. Testing positive this morning for COVID. Ughhhhhhhh.

The only thing worse than COVID isolation is one of those plastic things getting left in my sock, to mysteriously scratch at my ankle all day long.

Day 21

I used my FX to open a box that arrived in the mail. Inside of the box was a brand new Victorinox Ranger and a set of red linen Micarta scales. Should be a nice project when it’s done. I’m terribly intrigued by the Ranger.

And a bonus pic of the FX from last weekend’s camping:

DAY 21  No uses today, so I'm posting a dog pic.  He's not that impressed with the Angler.

SteveP - Day 21

My final switch-up for the challenge...

This is my fourth and last Explorer. It started out as a red Explorer Plus I got used on eBay last year. I'd been looking for another Explorer and when I found this Plus model for the same price, sold! I put yellow Plus scales on it as I like them.   :)

(I did have a fifth Explorer, but I modded it to add pliers so it's now a five-layer SAK.)
SAKs:
58mm: Bijou (3), Classic SD (7), Mini Champ Plus (mod), Alox Classic SD, Rambler (3), Companion
65mm: Wenger Esquire
74mm: Executive (2)
85mm: Traveler, Delemont S10, Bass
91mm: Champion "c", Swiss Champ (4), Explorer (3), Deluxe Tinker, Huntsman, Serrated Spartan/Weekender, Explorer Plus, Deluxe Explorer Plus (mod), Outdoorsman Plus, Champion "a", Champion Plus, Timekeeper Alarm, Golfer
93mm: Pioneer Alox

Day 28

Did a nature journaling exercise today and used the Huntsman to snip a leaf. Cameo by my TWISBI Precision Gunmetal. Showed our program director the pen from the plus scales. He was enthused.

Used the Huntsman’s scissors to trim my mustache, but rather than treat you all to a close up of that activity, here’s another landscape shot…

DAY 21

Happy Solstice wherever you awl might be on this spinning ball of fun.

On the Huntsman I used the awl for the nails and those scissors to open a soy sauce packet.

Can't figure out why I've never replied on the awl/punch as much as this last bit. Has more blade saving uses than I thought.

Despite using the Mtn Yeoman for a shockcord project, I forgot to take a picture.  I also used the scissor to open a snack and the combo tool to open a beer for the wife.

Too much excellence in this challenge...great work by awl! And more execration for those dipsmurf tag things. They're particularly obnoxious when attached to an item that's to be given to the pets.
