The tomatoes are doing great this year...

Nice!

Last night I collected tomatoes, basil, and a jalapeño from the veggie patch to toss with some pasta. Love these late Summer meals!   :tu:

Tomorrow I'm gonna put the finger groove 112 Ranger sheath to the test. It looks cheap and I am hard on sheaths so we will see.

I hear ya, but I've found Buck sheaths to be remarkably durable. Can't say I love awl of their sheath designs, but they do carry a knife securely.

Ranger Challenge II
Day 13

Battery time!

While I really didn't need another one, I wanted a G Shock to wear to work. So I took a $15 gamble on ebay and bought a DW-9052 in good physical condition that wasn't working. Sure enough, it just needed a battery.   :woohoo:

Day Thirteen

First full day with the 112 sheath. It does the job. Had to balance out my pants / belt with a Wave on one side and a Buck on the other.
Used the Buck to open some packages this morning.

I'll bite.  Whatcha got there?
Your G.I. Joe rocket launcher guess was pretty close. It's a Japanese vending machine toy. They're claimed to be scaled to work with action figures. They'll fire a "grenade" (a wadded-up piece of paper) about five or six feet!

The tomatoes are doing great this year...
They sure are. That one's ready to be sliced and put on a hamburger! :tu:

You have remarkable self-control. I would have devoured it the moment it came out of the package!

Day 13

Slightly late, as I took an unintentional nap. :ahhh But the Slim Ranger helped me make some birthday brownies. (Yesterday wasn't my birthday.)

Day 14 of 30

Mowing lawn yesterday cut short by rain!  So finished the task this afternoon.   I selected the Ebony Drop point for pocket carry.  Not bad, stayed at bottom of pocket and I knew it was present and accounted for.
Some glamour shots after putting swing back in place.

My 112 has cut the tips off a few caulk tubes, and it's still holding an edge pretty well.

I'm a kid at heart.  ;)
I'm sort of the same way.

No use today.
Great photo nevertheless! :tu:

Day 14

New Salt and pepper grinders arrived today. As they're battery-powered, I used the 112 to free the batteries from their wrappers.

Day 12

No use today.

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

Nice! I purchased a lot of stuff from the same seller. Among them were an M4 and derringer that functioned just like the real thing, and even had functioning ejectors. I ended up losing the tiny, proprietary ammo (which had a bullet that was separated from its case upon firing) that came with them. Balled-up paper is easily replaced.

I have some defibrillators that I bought with that group I bought for an action figure project. I'll show you what I did with them tomorrow.
