I actually get it from the big river site from the States, but self-cricothyrotomy?  No, thank you, I think I'd passed out freaking myself doing that.

Rambo sutured himself, but I doubt even he could save his own airway with a knife.   I'll have to google those devices.

DAY 18  The most innovative thing I've done with my 112 in this challenge.  Using the blunt part of the clip blade, I was able to nab the end of a flashlight lanyard.   :D

Day 17
The Ranger opened some packages, but then helped cut some twigs for my late night relaxation- fire, whiskey and mini cigar.

Day 17:

Busy day with the pup. Took her on a few walks, took her for a drive to acclimate her to the car, and did a little socialization training at the grocery store. Naturally she still had energy to dash about and burrow under and old plank when we got home.

With awl the puppy-focused activity, the Ranger only served as a pocket weight.......

112 serving some moon cake after the Mid-Autumn festival.  Much like having leftover turkey from Thanksgiving, there are always left over moon cakes from Mid-Autumn Fes. :D

Your 112 is soo shiny  :dd:

Day 18:

Cleaned up a cherry branch and carved a small notch in the tip to make a "flirt pole" for dog training/exercise purposes. Might need to lengthen the line at some point, so there is some spare cordage attached.

Day 18
It's been raining hard for most of today so I had a relaxing day indoors and ate some fresh strawberries while watching The Caine Mutiny.

Great uses the past few days.

Day 18 of 30

Started to do some cleanup prepping for fall. Removed some items from garage, and older flowers trimmed for winter.

Blue wood drop point does it in style.

Day Seventeen

Friday was all morning meetings then 6 hours of computer time.
Didn't get a chance to use the Buck this day.  Here is my daily carry this week.
Buck 112 Slim and Ruger SP101 .38/.357

(Image removed from quote.)

The SP101 is a great looking revolver. Has beenon my want list for a long time but other things have taken priority.

A dull blade will not cut these Styrofoam ceiling tiles cleanly. The Slim Ranger is holding up nicely.

That was in Part I, I like the part where he ignite the gun powder in his wound in Part III better. >:D   Gonna admit, he really did popularize the hollow-handled survival knife with saw back.

Good call, that was the 'before' picture, and I always make sure I wipe down the blade with alcohol before food use.  God only knows what I use my blade on before that, and a dirty blade is a sure ticket to non-stop bathroom visit for me.  :D

I’ll never forget that my uncle bought me a cheap hollow handle survival knife.  I loved it, but my Mom was a little upset at him.

Day 19 of 30

Storm moved through area last night, wind and rain!   Inspected back yard from upstairs window and had to explore closer. The top of my yard swing has a new extension😉  [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
Was not observed yesterday while doing yard work.
Kinda cute.
