Day 22: moved furniture and did some general house-keeping.

About the only thing I used the 112LT for was cutting paracord to make a lanyard for my companion electrician's knife.

What I like most about the 420HC from Buck is how care free it is.  :D

:iagree:

Also feel happier using the orange slim with its plastic handles in the kitchen more than my slim pro with micarta, even though I know micarta is pretty indestructible :tu:

Day 23

My poor old dog Coco has very bad arthritis and has been having trouble slipping on the floor, making both of us quite anxious

Have discovered yoga mats are perfect as they stay in place and aren’t too expensive, so have been adding them as needed

Today my watch band on my Garmin broke. I used the blade on my Buck to carefully put the pin back into the strap .

That is your 112 Slim Select. Your 112 LT has thicker Nylon handles with a Lanyard hole.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I figured I would take a picture with my beer.
Heckuva name for that beer!

A 505, tiny tiny one it is.
Reminds me a little of my 425, but nicer to look at. :D

Tonight's dinner covered all the major food groups. Chicken patty, beef sausage and pork bacon.

Great photos and uses from awl!

Day 22

On this first day of autumn (and boy, did it feel like it), I went out and about. I'm back on the nicotine pouches, if only for a brief while. Later on I opened one of the bags of pine pellets that were purchased.

Day 22
No use today.  I barely accomplished getting out of bed and putting clothes on today.  I've  got to get up early and take a 4 hour class tomorrow though, so I should at least get a picture taken somewhere other than my own yard.

There is probably a good chance of the KSG being bought at some point, but I think I’m safe from the Sparrow.
This reminds me of a lesson I learned as a child.  If my Mom started pulling everything out of the cupboard

As you have shared Coco adventures and trials with us over the past few years, I have become downright fond and attached to ol' Coco. So, thank you for doing what you do for Coco!  :tu:

I know you know that I tried to take care of Adventure Boy as well as I could. I could do no less after he was a staunch (and forgiving) companion for 17 years. So my thanks to you are deeply founded and sincere.  :tu:

All the best to you and Coco!

Day 23:

Ranger opened up a fresh batch of "Snack Sticks". These are locally made, cooked, sausage links that I've been using, sliced up into small pieces, for training treats for Adventure Girl, aka Tiglet, aka Wonder Puppy. Unfortunately, the trainer also like to eat them.......,

Thank you both very much for your kind words :tu: :tu: :hatsoff:

She’s a fantastic hound and been great company and fun all these years, reckon she’s got a little bit more left in her yet, even if at a much more sedate pace

I certainly do know how well you cared for adventure boy Nix, and they do so much for us in return. Adventure girl is a real beauty, I’m really enjoying the pics and look forward to following your adventures for many years to come
