Some excellent stuff from awl, as usual. This has been a great challenge! :tu:

Day 20

A day late, but here's the electrician's knife I intended to show yesterday. It's another Camillus 27, but this one was made for Channellock. This particular one is not a user, but that could change if I find another. There are awlso some Channellocks with blue covers knocking about, but I've not been able to acquire one yet.

Bonus pic!   First work knife my Dad gave me. Still quickens my pulse a touch when I get it out and look at it. FX!

Black and silver seems to be a thing with me, at least today.  Here are the Kershaw Culpepper, the Buck 388 and a Mont Blanc fountain pen that all match.

:salute: You can afford meat and eggs!  :drink:

Even Ramen noodles! Wow!

There may be hope, I was thinking of having some smashed crackers, covered with a salt & pepper gravey made with flour and H2O!
The peanut butter is an idea… maybe a good thickener…

I’m weakest at night, about the time I am suppose to be making way to slumberland.
Must avoid reviewing this site for those late posters to the day

:dunno: Today is a new day!   Good Morning, my name is LC and I am addicted to sharp flashie tools…
There is also a such thing as powdered peanut butter if really trying to save.  Maybe powdered peanut butter instead of flour for the gravy.  But in all seriousness, this site can be hard on the wallet if not careful, especially if you like traditionals in addition to multitools.

Not a lot of use for the Cripple Creek GEC 14, but it did help open a single serving package of nuts.  Although the picture is with a little dessert.

Nice!

I didn't know there where any Channellock branded knives with blue covers. Are they Channellock blue?

Day 21

When I first started collecting these things my dad handed me my grandad's old stockman. Apparently he'd always carried a pocket knife - he had been a fitter in the ship yards in Belfast before, during and after the war so I'm sure they were working knives he owned. I have no idea how old this one is - on the right. It was his last, so maybe 50 or so, give or take.

Anyhoo, it was the first time I'd seen a Stockman and as this collecting madness consumed me I thought I would get myself one and honour the old man at the same time. This lovely little Case XX in blue saw cut bone fits the bill nicely.

Day 21 -
Had difficulty getting the day started, but made work of it.  Visited son at hospital, dealing with unknown infection in leg, but concern with it moving to heart. He is a terrible patient.
Then afternoon meeting with financial firm, annual review to determine if more knifes can be acquired.    Since busy in Urban environment, I took only 1 cutter with me, and when home it was put to work stabbing a cupcake and freeing it from the paper.

Hopefully you did not nick your tongue badly  :tu:

And I hope your son recovers soon. I had a MRSA infection 3 years ago which required surgery. I felt bad for 5 days until until the abcess was removed.
