RIP Ray Liotta
on: May 26, 2022, 07:02:15 PM
Actor Ray Liotta has passed away at 67.

Most folks will remember him from his bigger films, but to me I think his best role was in a movie called Copland, where the mafia had subsidized a neighborhood for police officers to live, meaning they effectively owned a precinct.  That and the Just Shoot Me episode where he played a satirized version of himself, stating that he only made movies so that he could spend the money on Christmas decorations and parties.

RIP Ray- 67 was way too early.

I will always remember Goodfellas as his best film, although his most memorable scene would be from Hannibal.
RIP Mr Liotta.

Yes,  way to young, neck he is younger than me!

I always enjoyed the characters he portrayed, He easily made the character come to life, like Shoeless Joe in FIELD OF DREAMS!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

While most people will remember him as Henry Hill he played so many different and diverse characters - he played a baseball player, a jingle writer in a mixed race couple during the 60's, a soldier parachuting elephants, and a trash collector with a heart of gold for his brother. He will be missed.

:iagree:  I think his Joe Jackson role was my favorite. And, yes, way too young to leave the world.

RIP.  I saw a interview where he said he's know for the tough guy but his friends know him as a sweet fella.  He said in the interview he had one fist fight in school.  He made such an impact in his role in goodfellas that persona become to many who he was.

I naturally remember him from Hannah Montana Revolver

Just realized that "No Escape" plays in 2022, I really have to re-watch that now. Maybe complain about the lack of Covid references.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.
