I'd be looking for a van, but for one thing: they're way too hard to find with manual transmissions. Those of you not in the States may have better luck in that regard.

I've always had a manual and I much prefer it. But doesn't that all go out the door with EVs?  :think:

Not necessarily. I've seen some people convert ICE vehicles to electric and keep the manual transmission. But I'm certainty not aware of any modern production EVs that can be had with a manual.

I would never drive a sedan again. Having at least a hatchback opens up so many options - moving a chest of drawers, taking some rubbish to the dump, etc.
