We like to start celebrating early, and also finishing early. Today, we went to the traditional 9:00 AM St. Joseph Island Richard's Landing Tractor Trot...in its 24th year. Afterwards, The HMCS Oreole is visiting Sault Ste Marie for 3 days.

The last time the Tractor Trot was held was back in 2019 before the Pandemic. Nice to see it back. Got to love all the tractors and the folk who drive them. This year, the whole parade lasted an hour and a half. I took a lot of photos but figured a short video and a couple of photos would do.

The HMCS Oreole is Canada's longest commissioned navy boat. Seeing that its home port is Halifax, I bet Grant sees this one a lot.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMCS_OrioleI was a bit sad that all I could tour was the upper deck. I can only imagine how cramped it must be bellow decks.
