Day 10 - Buck 112 Slim Ranger, so happy Buck has upped its product line. Think everybody (and their mother) needs one of these.

Ok fine, now my wife had to do the knife trick. Can upload more pics if needed. Worried all the blood might make some squeamish.

Nice! However, it would be a poor choice of carry for me.

That's an interesting one. Does the "ramp" (for want of better term) at the back of the blade's spine have any effect when the knife is in use?

Yep, its got some really nice jimping for your thumb, crazy automatic action, sweet ergonomics, superb fit and finish. I actually got this one from Dave Wattenberg (Owner of Protech) at the Blade Show in Fort Worth, Texas. Great guy. Gave me a military discount and coin with the purchase. Highly recommend everything this company makes.

Wow, Matt.  Just came in for the photo, and so much goodies in here!  Congrats on the badge, and what a great collection this is!

Have you ever tried sharpening the Sandrin Torino?  Was it as hard/difficult as it sounds?

Have not tied to sharpen the Torino, if I had to do it, I’d probably give it a go with ceramics and if that did not work send it to them to sharpen.
