A knife that has always fascinated me and I think it almost holds mythical appeal is the Down Under Knives The Outback Bowie Knife, based on the iconic Crocodile Dundee knife, here is mine:

At 800 grams that's something that will keep you in shape  :D
Awesome knife, I love it. Had a huge bowie as a kid, don't know where it went but I felt understandable

I always wonder how many people got into bowie knives, survival knives from watching movies like Rambo and Crocodile Dundee.

I'd guess the bigger part. Though for myself I can't decide. I remember watching and enjoying Rambo and Crocodile Dundee but I also don't remember a part of my life where I have not been into knives  :dunno:

I have had one for years, good knife, solid, there was a review in BF several years ago where it was shown to be quite capable as well.
Kelly: "Daddy, what makes men cheat on women?
Al : "Women!"

That's the thing, while it is a movie prop replica type of knife it really is a massive chunk of metal and reasonably sharp out of the box, it is quite blade heavy but quite a capable knife as well and well made. There are several videos on YouTube as well of this knife being reviewed and used.  For me it is just a collectors item for the memories from the movie and I do love a well made bowie knife.
