Bigelow Constant Comment. Supposedly it "reinvented tea in America." Ingredients: black tea leaves, rind of oranges, sweet spices, natural flavors.

With temperatures about freezing point and fog crawling in, it's about high time to revive this thread!

For us tea means black tea and flavored black tea. No green tea and definitely no roiboos  :sa: Fruit tea sometimes during the chilly season. Since my SO is some kind of herb witch, we get our share of herbal teas, too; mostly when we're sick ...  :D

But for breakfast and in the evening time, mostly as mentioned above: black tea or flavored black tea. Here is a blend called "Kissinger winter". The german spa, just 70 km frm our home, not Henry... Containing apple bits, cinnamon, coriander and dried orange bits. Delicious.

And yes our cutlery arsenal contains several tea spoons, but occasionally I use the spatula on my SwissChamp XL for stirring. Mostly at work to get weird glances from my co-workers...

I love Taiwan high mountain oolong tea.  Expensive but some of the best tea on the planet.

Hello, I'm new here.
and love saks and tea.
Pu-Erh tea is pressed into a nest shape and then matures for several years. Then you loosen individual leaves with a special needle or knife to brew them.
I use the awl of the sak instead of the special needle.

wonderful, I love matcha very much too. I drink a bowl every morning. I beat the foam traditionally with a bamboo whisk.
My newest EDC Excelsior is on vacation at this time. I like to use the Excelsior as a pocket scalpel. It passes the HHT test level 3.

oh, a wonderful SAK. I've been wanting a SAK with a long awl for a long time. but they are all too expensive :(
I love the long awl. The only knife I own is an old horn handle knife as an heirloom from my grandpa. no user unfortunately.

Thanks to all :)

Sorry, I don't want to seem like a braggart. I am retired for health reasons. and that's why I have a lot of time and enjoy making my tea in this time-consuming way.

You aren't bragging at all.   :salute: :tu:   Its just that a scoop of matcha in a plastic bottle is not the way it is traditionally consumed.

Too many rich foods lately so I'm having some lemon ginger tea tonight, along with my favorite mug and my favorite Alox.

Tea and Tinker.  I drink whatever I have on hand.  This is Red Rose again.  Not much fragrance for some reason.  Tastes okay.  Sometimes I make two brews from one bag.  Second cup is not as strong, but still acceptable.  Best wishes.  G
