Badge Request: Scaler User

I’ve used the fish scaler for a number of “non-fish” related things and just found a fish scaler badge.  What’s not clear is if the badge also qualifies for these other tasks…. Like pumpkin carving!

Works better than a serrated blade and clean up is much easier.

I kinda see that fish scaler as a convenient back scratcher. That’s one reason I’ve even considered getting the Fisherman and using it for my EDC knife. It’s just a Super Tinker with a fish scaler added on.

I never thought of that and just gave it a try. Worked a little better than I thought.

Cheers, Farmer

Thanks, all. It’s also safer than the pumpkin carving kit knives for the kids to be around.

I EDC an older Angler (scissors, scaler, corkscrew, no pliers) and the scaler gets a ton of use as an all purpose poker.
